The German-Malaysian Business Forum (GMBF) is the Chamber’s flagship event that was first organised in 2021 to deconstruct one selected hot topic or business trend that is affecting organisations in Malaysia, Germany and the rest of the world. This year, our forum’s format is a half-day event, curated to be more interactive by featuring the usual panel discussions, experts sharing and result-driven networking sessions for attendees to delve deeper into the topics. The forum's objective is to bring relevant stakeholders together to conduct insightful exchanges.

The Chamber’s flagship event this year spotlights a highly debated topic—Malaysia’s ambition to become the region’s renewable energy (RE) hub. With an ambitious goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, this is a timely opportunity to discuss the nation’s commitment to a sustainable future. Join us at this exclusive forum, where key industry players, policymakers, innovators, and investors will come together to explore how Malaysia can accelerate its green energy transition, unlock new economic opportunities and strengthen its position as a regional RE powerhouse.
