The Position: Product Development Manager (m/f/d)

Product Development Manager and our Philosophy: Product Development Manager is not only a title to determine your salary level. It is your ability to anticipate customer needs, translate ideas into viable products and manage the full lifecycle from concept to production. These skills are challenged by the following responsibilities:

• Primarily to identify new customer expectations and translate them into innovative product concepts in coordination with the Sales organization.
• Develop and design products considering practical feasibility, commercial viability and compliance with technical and statutory requirements.
• Conduct costing analysis, evaluate production costs and select suitable materials to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare bills of materials, technical documentation as well as generate drawings and 3D models for production and sales purposes.
• Coordinate development activities with internal and external stakeholders, including R&D teams and suppliers, ensuring seamless execution.
• Support purchasing with technical specifications and alternative solutions, and collaborate with QA on technical validations such as tolerance calculations and measurement checks.
• Ensure smooth prototype development phases and successful transition into production.
• You will handle additional tasks assigned by management, supporting projects across departments where required. 

Your Profile

The following qualifications will enable you to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to our continued success:

• You work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
• You must be able to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels. 
• A relevant bachelor’s degree is highly beneficial.
• At least five years of experience in product development or a related field is required.
• Strong knowledge in industrial design and hands-on experience with 3D CAD software such as PTC Creo.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office and capable of handling technical documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented and able to solve complex technical challenges independently.
