In addition, the chamber offers information on entering the market in Malaysia as well as an overview of the current economic situation in Malaysia. If required, we are at your disposal with individual advice on company formation, business partner searches as well as on legal and other issues.
Together with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), MGCC organises projects with a focus on renewable energies and energy efficiency. This export initiative is controlled, coordinated and financed by the BMWi.
This initiative supports the development of new sales market abroad for German manufacturers and providers of technologies, products and service companies from the RE industry who contribute to the secure and sustainable supply of energy.
An extensive range of information on foreign markets, seminar events, business trips abroad, contact initiation with cooperation partners from the target country, marketing support and much more serve as start-up aid for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in encouraging their foreign activities.
In 2016, the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) launched the “Environmental Technologies Export Initiative” to support export-oriented activities of the German environmental industry. In addition, the initiative is intended to help improve framework conditions in target countries and to accelerate implementation and usage of green and sustainable environmental infrastructures.
The programme aims to not only support individual German companies to enter foreign markets, but also to positively influence framework conditions and to lay the foundations for German companies to contribute their expertise, products and services to solve local environmental challenges in a more targeted manner. To do this, it promotes transfer of know-how, capacity building, network development et cetera.
With the Market Development Programme (MEP) for German small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) supports SMEs from a wide variety of industries in opening up foreign markets, including in the areas of, amongst many others, civil security technologies, waste management and circular economy, as well as water and wastewater management.
Particularly in the aforementioned industries, the Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry can support German SMEs in exploring the market with their established network and experience in the country. Through business events in the format of technical conferences and individual business meetings with potential partners, German companies have the opportunity to present their products and solutions to the Malaysian target audience.
Trade Delegations to foreign target markets serve as door openers to important decision-makers from politics and business.
This enables you to familiarize yourself with the target market, the country and its people on site, thus enabling a more realistic assessment of the market opportunities and challenges. In a 3-4 day programme (also available in online format), the Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry offers German foreign trade promotion agencies as well as other trade and professional associations and organisations the opportunity to jointly coordinate trade and business delegations that offer their member companies workshops and seminars on the Malaysian market and important intercultural norms.
The programme may also include individual business meetings and site visits. This will allow impressions to be deepened and initial contacts to established. The delegation will be accompanied by the Chamber throughout its tailored programme.
The Malaysian-German Chamber regularly organises market exploration and business trips as well as information events for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on different topics and industries in Malaysia.
First and foremost, you will receive information on current market trends and support structures in Malaysia, and secondly, we will accompany you to your meetings with potential business partners, where you will have the opportunity to make new connections with the benefit of an advisor.
The Chamber also works closely with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), various state ministries and other export promotion agencies.
