We are pleased to share with you our Annual Report for the year 2025!
Our flagship publication provides a comprehensive overview of MGCC's activities, achievements, services, events, and strategic initiatives from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
Despite a year marked by global economic uncertainty, shifting trade dynamics, and geopolitical challenges, the German–Malaysian business community demonstrated remarkable resilience and confidence. Throughout 2025, MGCC continued to strengthen bilateral economic relations, expand its services, grow its membership network, and support businesses navigating opportunities across both markets.
Highlights of the year included the launch of the NRW ASEAN Service Desk, the introduction of Key Account Management services, continued growth in membership and premium membership, increased media visibility, and strong participation across events, vocational training, market entry projects, and trade fair activities.
Some of our 2025 highlights were:
- 138 visas processed supporting German companies and professionals in Malaysia
- 463 members – the highest membership level in the Chamber's history
- 35 premium members – a 9.4% increase from 2024
- 47 events held with approximately 2,000 participants
- 74 market entry enquiries and engagements across all four quarters
- 43 GDVT graduates successfully completing the programme
- 1,312 trade fair visitors – a 93% year-on-year increase
- 10,899 LinkedIn followers across MGCC's growing professional network
- 148,439 website visitors – a 154% increase compared to 2024
- 100 media mentions generating RM1.57 million in PR value, up 61% from 2024
- 38% female representation on the MGCC Board of Directors
- 5 Key Account Management engagements launched in the inaugural year of the programme
- 19 active payroll and accounting clients supported throughout the year
- 21 exhibitors represented across MGCC-supported international trade fairs
