AHK World Business Outlook Fall 2024

The AHK World Business Outlook Fall 2024 reveals varied perspectives from German businesses operating worldwide, including in Malaysia. While global economic confidence shows some decline compared to earlier surveys, German companies in Malaysia are thriving, with 54% reporting a strong business situation. Malaysia also leads with high optimism: 61% of businesses foresee improvements in their operations, underpinned by stable infrastructure and growth in regional trade.

 

The report highlights investment momentum in Southeast Asia, with Malaysia emerging as a hotspot for expansion. German companies plan to increase investments locally, focusing on leveraging Malaysia’s skilled workforce and its role as a logistics and manufacturing hub.
