Michael Kuehner

Asia based Coach and Advisor with extensive international experience as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. With more than 25 years of international experience in the telecommunications and IT industry (thereof 14 years in Asia (Malaysia, India, Japan, Bangladesh, Japan, Korea), Mr Kuehner is an experienced leader with a strong track record in growing businesses, leading company transformations and turn around. In his last role as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the mobile operator Robi Axiata Ltd., Mr Kuehner has steered the company through a major rebranding exercise and overseen Robi’s progress to a more than 25 million subscriber base. In earlier roles, Mr Kuehner has held executive positions in Sales and Marketing, Service and Project Management, where he was based in Germany, Russia and several North African countries. Born in 1952, Mr Kuehner has a Masters Degree in Mathematics and Economic Science from the University of Cologne in Germany.
