The South Westphalian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hagen provides a wide range of services on all business matters for 45,000 member companies with the support of its 80 employees. Assisting in international business, the Chamber organises foreign trade workshops, conferences on foreign markets and business delegations to establish b2b contacts abroad. For members, we issue certificates of origins, customs documents and carnets (Merchandise Passports). South Westphalia between Cologne, Dortmund and Frankfurt is the most industrialised part of Germany. More than 50% of all employed persons work in trade and industry. Traditional branches are automotive suppliers, wire-drawing, cold-rolling and steel-processing, electrotechnics and plastics processing and the facility engineering industry such as lights, switches, faucets, security technology or door systems.
