It was a conscious decision to run the company as a family enterprise. The success story of Züst & Bachmeier started 1911 in Switzerland. In the early years, the company focused on shipping whole sets of machines for the textile industry to Russia. In the 1950’s, Züst & Bachmeier systematically extended its business activities. Since then worldwide shipping of any project has been the core competence of the company. In 2016, Züst & Bachmeier Project GmbH became part of the Universal Transport Group in a move to systematically strengthen the product portfolio.
