Industriemeister in Mechatronics
The German Dual Vocational Training (GDVT) initiative offers the Industriemeister in Mechatronics program. The Industriemeister in Mechatronics is an occupational further education program.
This standardized program is designed to cultivate specialists who play a crucial role in planning and coordinating workflows, supervising and optimizing manufacturing processes, and training skilled workers. Industriemeister in Mechatronics are responsible for designing mechatronic systems, ensuring their proper assembly, installation, and configuration, as well as advising and training customers on their use.
Becoming an Industriemeister in Mechatronics provides numerous advantages: you will integrate the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering, and computer science, ensuring your versatility across various industries. This position typically involves less direct production work and focuses more on mid-level management and training, offering a dynamic career path with significant opportunities for growth.
Scope
- Clarify technical requirements and feasibility of mechatronic problem solutions
- Configure, parameterize and commission systems
- Monitor configuration and change management
- Monitor production and process sequences of mechatronic products and systems
- Design and implement service and customer support services
- Train, advise, and support customers
- Plan work processes including the use of materials and resources
- Prepare cost plans and monitor cost development
- Assist in the selection and procurement of machinery, equipment and facilities
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, environmental and health regulations
- Develop and implement quality management objectives
- Assist in planning personnel requirements and filling vacancies
- Promote further training of employees and carry out training of apprentices
Structure
- Duration: Circa 23 months
- Sponsorship of tuition fees
- 100% in vocational GDVT partner institute
- Part-time programme alongside permanent employment
- Certificate by DIHK & MGCC
- Basic qualifications module
- Job-specific qualifications module
- Train the Trainer (AdA)
