Business Initiation Trip to Malaysia – Discover a Fast-Growing Market in the Centre of Southeast Asia
In Focus: Industry 4.0 in Supply Chain Logistics

Under the Market Entry Programme supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), the Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Malaysia) is coordinating a business initiation trip to Malaysia with AMENA Trade & Invest from 27-31 October this year.

The Malaysian economy has been growing at an average annual rate of around 5% for a decade and is becoming increasingly attractive for many German companies both as an expansion market as well as a gateway into the Southeast Asian region. More than 700 German companies are already active in Malaysia in various sectors, including high-tech manufacturing, the automotive industry, chemicals, shared services and the service sector.

Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 aims to transform numerous factories into smart factories in the middle to long term. German providers of Industry 4.0 solutions focussing on supply chain logistics can discover business opportunities in Malaysia.
