About the Speaker
Chiu Yen is a licensed tax agent in Malaysia and a fellow member CPA Australia, member of Chartered Tax Institute of Malysia (CTIM) and Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA). She started her career with a Big 4 Accounting Firm and has more than 15 years of experience specializing in tax compliance and tax advisory for individual and corporate clients across various industries. Besides that, she also assists clients with tax audit and investigation, dispute resolution matters, tax incentives and due diligence matters involving mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring exercise. She is currently the Head of Tax Compliance with RÖDL Malaysia. Kartika has over 12 years of experience in transfer pricing and tax advisory. She started her career with Big 4 Accounting Firms. Her expertise spans transfer pricing planning, advisory and compliance, international and cross-border tax matters, tax and corporate structuring and optimisation. She has advised multinational clients across various industries and assisted clients on tax incentives, indirect tax matters, tax audits and dispute resolution. Kartika is currently the Head of Transfer Pricing and Tax Advisory at RÖDL Malaysia.
